The Dungeon Lords?!
Some of the craziest stuff comes out when you start digging through old hard drives! I have always been especially sad that I never realized the importance of cataloging my art until I moved to the US. It felt a lot like my entire career in Pakistan was wiped out because I never built demoreels or saved rendered, hi-res samples of my work there.
Shock of all shocks! I discovered this small folder of old playblasts (rough, work-in-progress animation files) of the animations I did for Dungeon Lords! Obviously, these are not the final rendered pieces, and I think stuff may have been polished past these renditions, but how nice to see something!

Bob Walk Animation
I enjoy building specific characters for my classes to help them practice visualizing animations for a variety of characters.
This includes different types of ball rigs, a squirrel rig (basically a ball rig with a tail), a flat pencil-like character and this one-eyed biped named Bob.Bob is a favorite in my grad animation class and is invariably used in our biped walk cycle exercises.
This is a clip of a walk cycle I animated in our labs this year as I led my students through the process of blocking, splining and clean up. The only thing missing is facial animation (blinks etc.). -

Iroquois Creation Story – Accolades
Well! It was a wild and crazy ride making this film, which combined 2D, 3D and live production shots.
We worked with so many artists to successfully integrate all three mediums together and make a completed piece, solving numerous logistical and artistic problems along the way. It was all worth it!
Over the past 18 months, the Iroquois Creation Story has become a permanent exhibit in the Seneca Art & Culture Center in Victor, NY.
This film has also been screened in a number of festivals (17 at current count) around the world and has won six awards for Best Animation and one for Best Music.

2017 Animation Production Class
Students at the School of Film and Animation get to create full films in every year of their academic careers.
The Animation Production 1 Workshop is a Sophomore class, where our animation students make their first complete animations and screen the finished results in the SOFA screenings at the end of the year.Every year, our sophomore students surprise and delight us with their original ideas and beautiful results and this year was no different. I am only including screencaps of the films here, with the artists names, because I hope to see some of these films qualify for festivals in the coming months.
Congratulations to the class!

Dungeon Lords
Dungeon Lords is a real time fantasy role-playing video game developed by David W. Bradley of Heuristic Park, published by DreamCatcher Games and Typhoon Games, and released in 2005.
I worked as a creature and villain animator and occasionally as a texture artist. It was an incredibly exciting project for a young animator such as myself.
Creatures I animated include the Boarloth (a bear-boar hybrid), the Minotaur, Attacking Spiders, Dugeon Crawler, Fungi, the Moon Beast (a feline character), Snake, the flying Lesser Demons and the Boss Character.
Being a real-time role playing game there are very few hi-resolution videos available, so I have added screen caps from the game.
